Welcome to PillCaddy. These terms govern your use of the PillCaddy mobile application, built and operated by Openroad Apps LLC. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
We’ve written these in plain language because we want you to actually read them. They’re still legally binding, but we’ve tried to make them clear and fair.
PillCaddy is a household medication tracking app for iOS and Android. It helps you organize medication schedules for yourself, your family members, and your pets. It sends reminders, tracks doses, and includes an AI assistant to help set up complex schedules.
This is the most important section of these terms. Please read it carefully.
PillCaddy is a personal organization tool. It is not a medical device, not a licensed healthcare service, and not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
PillCaddy cannot guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted availability of the app. Technology can fail. Notifications may not arrive. Data entry errors can happen. For these reasons:
The AI features in PillCaddy are designed to help you organize information you provide. The AI is not a pharmacist, doctor, or medical professional. AI responses should never be treated as medical advice.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@pillcaddy.app.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.
PillCaddy allows you to enter medication information for other members of your household, including children, elderly family members, and pets. By entering information for another person, you represent that you have the authority and consent to manage their medication information.
You are responsible for the accuracy of all medication data you enter, whether for yourself or for others.
PillCaddy is free to start. Certain premium features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device.
Subscription pricing, renewal terms, and free trial details (if any) are presented to you before purchase. Refunds are handled according to the refund policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store respectively. We do not process payments directly.
PillCaddy, including its design, code, features, and content, is owned by Openroad Apps LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the app.
Your medication data belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of the information you enter into PillCaddy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Openroad Apps LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use PillCaddy.
Our total liability for any claim related to PillCaddy shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
PillCaddy is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
You may stop using PillCaddy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we need to do so for legal, security, or operational reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance when possible.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of PillCaddy shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Oregon.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of PillCaddy after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
If you have questions about these terms, we’re happy to help.
